Standing on one side of an APC, with a line of others, the mixed group of Singapore police and military simply watched in some bemusement as one of the nearby fire trucks was firing hoses at the source of shouts, yells, and the like. Very slowly blinking a little bit, one of the Army Officers turned towards a police officer with a shake of the head, "Got to admit, when I joined up… never expected this. You?"
About to say something, he ducked as a piece of half-eaten fruit was thrown at him before slowly raising his head back up with a snort, "I don't think anyone really expected something like this." Rolling his eyes, he shook his head some, "Honestly, having dealt with small riots and such? Surprised that they haven't sent us in to crack some skulls other than helping people get out."
Right then, both of them turned to one of the civilians there with a scowl as he gestured, "Don't you even dare! Cracking skulls are the last thing that you should be doing! Do you have any idea of the opportunity that there is here!"
Instead of saying something, the military guy quickly yanked the civilian out of the way of a stone, with the fire hoses turning in that direction, "To get hit by fruit, stones, and the like thrown by a bunch of cavemen?"
Cheeks flushed some from embarrassment, the civilian patted himself off as he gestured at the group a short distance away, "They are not cavemen!" He then gestured towards the group who were ducking behind corners between throwing what was at hand, "They are Homo Heidelbergensis!"
One of the other civilians, an older man, scowled and pointed, "No, they are quite obviously Homo erectus!"
A scoff came from a female civilian as she glared at them both, "You are both wrong, they are obviously Denisovans!"
The older civilian whipped around and glared back, "Impossible! Besides which, the dearth of the amount of fossil material makes any such claim… near impossible to prove!"
Simply watching as the three got into yet another loud argument amongst each other, the soldiers and police officers simply shrugged at one another with a "What can you do?" sort of look amongst them. Then, the Army Officer from before turned back to the police officer and shrugged, "Anyways, as for cracking skulls… that is for the higher ups to decide considering this bullshit involves time travel or something. You want to hit one of them in the head and cause most of the human race to vanish because they would have gone back through… whatever otherwise?"
Grimace on his face, the police officer shook his head a little bit, "No, thank you." Hearing a sound, he looked up to see one of the broomriders going past with some passengers from deeper in the cordoned off area, "… Got to admit though, magic is useful for one thing, less issue than using helicopters to get people out."
With a slow nod, the Army Officer sighed, "Thankfully, no deaths. Some bruises and contusions… but nothing more. Everyone quickly brought in their pets and locked the doors when that bunch started showing up."
Just grunting, the police officer shook his head, "Can't even arrest the ones responsible yet." Pausing, he frowned a bit, "Does the law even cover them?"
Only shaking his head, the Army Officer snorted, "Don't know, it covers non-humans so… who the hell knows?" He then frowned a bit as he watched the group of ancient hominids duck behind the buildings and such to get away from the fire hoses, "… Wonder why they even came here?"
At that, one of the female police officers spoke up, "There's a warehouse up the street filled with food. Figure that one of them discovered it, went back, and told the others. And with that amount of free food? They'd be nuts to not go and enjoy it."
Sighs came from the others there as one of them lifted up a grenade launcher and fired some tear gas towards one of the hiding places, causing hoots and the like as those hiding there fled further away. Leaning against the APC, the male police officer shook his head some as he lifted up his helmet enough to scratch his head, "Wish that I knew what was going on… some kind of portal to prehistory?"
From where he was, one of the other Army personnel spoke up, "Heard that it had to do with the Nazis."
Nearly everyone turned to stare at him, the Army Officer from before raised an eyebrow, "The… Nazis…"
With a small shrug and an embarrassed look, the younger man shrugged, "Well… I mean, its on the net that apparently both them and the Japanese were looking into time travel using magic at the end of the Second World War. So, maybe this is an aftereffect."
Rolling her eyes, one of the female Army personnel shook her head, "Nah, has to do with the American CIA. They were all over that time travel stuff back during the Cold War. And stuff like this is always their fault." She then turned to another member of the Army who was looking through binoculars, "Right?" Getting no answer, she frowned and jabbed him with her elbow, "Right?"
Yelp escaping from him, the man blinked as he looked away from his binoculars, "Er… yeah, sure."
Very much suspicious, the Army Officer narrowed his eyes some, "… You've been staring quite hard through those binoculars, Private. Anything that we should know about."
More than a little nervous, the young man, just out of his teens noticed that all the attention was on him, even the fire fighters glancing at him, "… Um… well…" Ducking his head, he rubbed the back of his neck, "… The women over there are mostly nude and, well… some of them have nice tits, Sir?"
Hand met face in a romance that was joined by other people that were there as well.
Ignoring the grumbles and how the female member smacked the Private across the back of the head, the higher ranked Army Officer shook his head, "... Right, anyways, at least we're not the only ones needing to deal with this."
Eyebrow raised, the police officer looked at him with interest, "Really?"
Hum escaping from him, the other man chuckled, "Apparently a bunch appeared on one of those nearly abandoned islands in the Philippines. Granted, they're shorter than our guys, like... heads coming up to a normal person's chest kind of short."
Simply shaking his head, the police officer frowned some as he watched some merchant shipgirls pull up and bring out portable water canisters for the firetrucks to make use of to refill their own tanks. Not to mention joining in on spraying down any group that got close to the cordon, "... Where are the military shipgirls? Would have thought that they would be here helping out as well."
With a shrug, the Army Officer sighed a little bit, "Well, apparently they're busy over in Malaysia dealing with some issues over there."
That just got him a blink and look of confusion before the police officer shrugged some.
Meanwhile, across the Straits of Johor and deep in the countryside of Malaysia, Hanna narrowed her eyes some as the sound of thudding came closer and closer along with a trumpeting sound. As a shadow fell across her, she merely smirked widely before stretching out her arms and taking a deep breath... before grabbing the two massive tusks in either hand. Briefly, she slid across the dirt road before growling as she increased her weight, the ground literally shattering under her feet as her movement ceased. Looking up into the eyes of the giant elephant, one that glared down at her as she could smell the musk coming from it, she grinned, "Ach, sorry, this is as far as you go."
As if in reply, it quickly grabbed a log in its trunk and swung it at Hanna's head, the wood shattering as it impacted. Yet, it did nothing to the shipgirl even as a voice came over her radio, "{Captain Hipper, are you alright?[/i]}"
Snorting some as she continued to hold the pachyderm, who's size was such that its knee was actually above her head height, the Cruiser just laughed a little bit, "Ja! Ja! I am alright, now let us put him to sleep to transport him to the sanctuary where they can take care of him!"
Various pops could be heard as wizards and witches apparated in, soon hitting the elephant with stunning spells. And, soon enough, it fell to its knees with Hanna gently placing it on the side.
Once she was done, she clapped her hands some and shook her head as she placed one finger to just under her ear, "What is the status on the rest of the herd currently?"
From over the radio, she could hear Mia speak up, '{Schwester! We have managed to subdue the rest of the herd that was making their way through the rice patties. There is unfortunately some damage, but the animals are all safe und secure.}'
There was a small smile of pride on Hanna's face as she nodded, "Excellent! Wunderbar! Then these can easily be transported to safety." She then tapped her ear again and hummed a little bit, "Hawke? How are things on your end?"
Pushing aside some brush, Hawke frowned a little bit as she looked around, seeing what looked like a "Hole" with edges outlined in negative light and crackling with lightning, "... Well, the good news is that we have found the tear."
From her own radio, she could hear the German Cruiser speak up, '{Und the bad news?'
A frown on her face, Hawke ignored the various Malaysian military personnel moving around, "The bad news is that it is still open, though not nearly to the size that would allow for more of our friends in Dumbo's family to come through. Unknown how many others might have gotten out of here as well, unfortunately, though much of the brush has been trampled and trees knocked down." Eyebrows furrowing, she frowned some as she looked at the ancient ruins, some of which had been damaged by the herd of prehistoric elephants that had come through, "Also, there's ruins here."
No answer came from Hanna for a few moments before there was a hum, '{Ja, that does make a certain amount of sense.}'
Raising an eyebrow at that, the British shipgirl blinked a bit, "And how does that make any sort of sense, Hanna?"
Lightly snorting over the radio, she could almost see her friend shake her head a little bit, '{Easy, meine freund! Quite easy, such tears from what little I know of were often used for things such as trying to see into the future via scrying. Made such arts much easier and more accurate. Und the ones that have opened were ones often used for such arts, weakening the... fabric of time around them, if you will.}'
Grimace on her face, Hawke shook her head a little bit, "Lovely that, positively lovely." Placing her hand on her hips, she frowned a little bit, "... Still though, one thing in particular is puzzling to me."
Question in her voice, Hanna spoke up some, '{Oh? Und what would that be?}'
Deeply frowning, the Royal Navy Cruiser shook her head once more as she glanced around, "From what little we were told, the portals that opened are often far apart, and yet..."
Finishing for her, Hanna gave a sigh, '{Und yet, we have one here und one in Singapore.}'
Slowly nodding, Hawke continued to frown as she slowly walked around the clearing, "Quite, that should not be possible."
A small sigh came from the German before she spoke up, '{Und that would have to do with a certain event quite some time in the post.}'
Her eyebrow raising at that, Hawke blinked a little bit, "Oh? What sort of event?"
Even though neither of them could see each other, Hawke knew that Hanna was giving a small shrug, '{Centuries ago, there was conflict between the kingdom around the rip here und the one that made use of the rip on Singapore. Once, they... well, for lack of better words used both weak points at the same time...}'
Groan escaping from her, the British shipgirl pinched her nose, "Please... do not tell me..."
Rather dry tone to her voice, Hanna snorted, '{Ja, they had a, how do you say it... We know that you know that we know that you know that we know that you know that we know what you're going to be doing while you know what we will know.}'
Very much grimacing at that, Hawke shook her head a little bit, "... Bloody hell, I know that I have watched enough of Doctor Who to get the gest of that... and it is still headache inducing."
That only got her a laugh that made her roll her eyes a little bit, even as a smile played along her own lips.

Standing on his porch, Admiral Arthur Hen simply hummed as he sipped a mug of tea while watching the source of various "HUZZAH"s and the like with a bemused smile on his face. Chuckle escaping from him, he slowly shook his head with a small grin tugging at his lips, 'I must admit, this greatly reminds me of the days when I lived in Camelot...' Pausing briefly, the Once and Future King simply snorted a little bit as he took yet another sip of the hot drink in his hand, enjoying the taste of it, 'Or at least the times when the chaos that happened around me was only yet harmless.' Footsteps made him glance to the side where his older half-half sister, though neither of them really cared all that much about the fact that she was his half-sibling, as they considered each other just their siblings, "Hello, Morgan."
Bright smile on her face, Morgana briefly gave her brother a hug before nodding and pulling back, "Hello, Arty, a rather... interesting day, I must admit."
A snort escaping from him, the former King only shook his head a bit as he chuckled some, "Interesting, hmm? I do suppose that would be one way of putting it to be quite honest. Though, thus far, it has only really been interesting in the way that does not leave me reaching for the mead nor herbs."
Rolling her eyes some, Morgana only shook her head with a small sigh, "Yes, I do suppose that is true enough." Another loud shout of joy and encouragement caused her to glance in its direction before she raised her eyebrow some, "Hmm... reminds me greatly of Camelot, I will admit, on the better days at the very least. And at least Merlin is not to blame, I suppose."
With a scoff, Arthur shook his head, "I would not be so sure of that, sister."
Very slowly, his sister raised her own eyebrow more, "Surely you do not believe that old fool has something to do with this particular thing, do you?"
Also raising an eyebrow, Arthur gestured at the scene in front of them, "Could you honestly say that this is not something that he would have a hand in if such happened back in Camelot?"
Right as she was about to say something, Morgana paused and then became thoughtful. After several seconds, she sighed and shook her head a little bit, "... As sad as it is, I would very much suspect him of having part of such an event as has happened. Even if he denied it."
Dry tone to his voice, her brother rolled his eyes some before looking skyward, "I would say that I would especially suspect him of having had an hand in such an event if he denied having anything to do with it. That is how it usually went after all."
Sigh escaping from her, Morgana slowly nodded a little, "Yes, I suppose that is very true, Arty."
Motioning with one of her hands, she summoned a hot drink of her own. Much to Arthur's amusement, it was easy enough for him to identify his sister's drink of choice, "A hot chocolate?"
Happily humming as she took a drink of the sweet, rich liquid, Morgana slowly nodded, "Indeed, a wonderful drink and one that nearly makes it worth all those centuries spent in slumber waiting until we could meet once more. Almost."
Laughs escaping from him, Arthur shook his head a bit before clinking his drink against hers, "Fully agreed, my dearest sister!"
For a time, the two siblings stood there simply watching the antics before the female of the two spoke up, her tone carrying a note of puzzlement, "I will admit confusion about one particular thing, however."
Upon hearing that, Arthur raised an eyebrow, "Oh? And what may that be, Morgana?"
Puzzlement and confusion clear upon her face, Morgana turned towards her brother, "It is about your Paramour." At the not and motion to go on, she nodded, eyebrows furrowing, "Why ever did she ,when she came out to see what yon Knights of the Undersea were doing, decide to start hitting her head upon a wall while groaning out that while they are close to Cardiff, it was supposed to be a fictional story?" It took a few moments, but the former King began laughing uproariously. Not appreciative of how he was not answering her question, Morgana brought it to an end by kicking him in the shin, "I asked you a question!"
Grimace on his face as he rubbed his leg, her brother shook his head, "Sorry about that... it has to do with a spinoff of a popular television show called Doctor Who. Quite an interesting sort of premise, I will admit.
Very slowly, Morgana raised an eyebrow at that, "I see..."
Meanwhile, nearby, one of the Knights of the Undersea was attempting to tame her new mount, a wooly rhinoceros, while her sisters kept it from doing damage to anything...
